RainStation makes harvesting rainwater simple and affordable, whilst choosing a RainStation product will not in itself save the planet, it will make a difference.

Connect to almost any drainpipe in minutes! Each RainStation product is supplied complete with a 3P Technik Rainwater Filter Collector, comprising of a 1 metre flexible connection hose and Integrated Rainwater Collector / Filter / Overflow System.
The system can be quickly and easily attached to square drainpipes with a cross section between 65mm and 100mm, and round drainpipes with a cross section between 68mm and 100mm. As well as being easy to connect, pre-filtering rainwater before it enters the tank results in cleaner, purer and clearer water and a reduced build up of sludge and contaminants inside the tank.

So how does it work?

Stage 1:
Rainwater is channelled through the downpipe in the usual way until it reaches the collector.
Stage 2:
When rainwater passes through the filter, dirt and debris is washed to the side and travels onward through the downpipe, to the grating in the usual manner. For ease of use, the Filter can be easily removed and consists of a washable, metal filter medium.
Stage 3:
Clean, clear and freshly filtered water is then led through the filter’s outlet and into the tank. Additionally in the event of the tank becoming full, the filter usefully serves as an overflow, diverting excess water from the tank and returning it to the drainpipe.
